I really like the simplicity and organic flow of the rustication into the smooth especially with the colors in the stem. The smooth shape of the area with my stamp on the bottom is intentional. I wanted it to flow as if it was a piece of bark still on the stem. I drill all my pipes for an open, comfortable draw.
